Treatment Options for Teething Pain
The most commonly asked teething advice is the management of teething pain <1,2>. When a baby is experiencing discomfort with teething, always try to use non-pharmacological options first. Using simple local measures, such as cooling and/or gently rubbing the irritated gums can be a very effective and inexpensive solution <3,4>. When non-pharmacological strategies are not enough, you could then consider over-the-counter pharmacological treatment options to help relieve the teething pain.
